Phil Withers is Co-Director of the National Research Facility for Lab. X-ray CT and Chief Scientist of the Henry Royce Institute for Advanced Materials.

He is Chair of the CCPi Executive Group with a strong interest in iterative reconstructions, particularly for few projection and rich (tensorial) tomographic data, including hyperspectral CT, as well as correlative tomography.  He is also supportive of the archiving of 3D and 4D (3D+time) data according to the FAIR principles.
