STIR PET scanner support extension vHackathon

The vHackathon will be started with a series of talks to put everyone on the same page, after which there will be a session where we will discuss how we’re going to run the vHackathon.

Participating requires some in-depth knowledge of PET raw data. Some explanation will be given at the start.
Development will be in C++. However, it also needs people with data and willingness to test (more than once!).

Specific plans:

1. Test support for GE Signa PET data and the RDF9 file format (possibly also RDF10). In particular we are looking for data from other GE scanners using RDF9. (work started at https://github.com/UCL/STIR/pull/564).
2. Extend GATE ROOT support to handle “virtual crystals” as used by Siemens (see https://github.com/UCL/STIR/issues/357)
3. Extend ECAT8 support from mMR to mCT (see e.g. https://github.com/UCL/STIR/issues/508) and possibly work towards absolute calibration https://github.com/UCL/STIR/projects/4
4. Possibly work on getting images in the correct LPS location, https://github.com/UCL/STIR/projects/1
